Developed by a French phonics specialist, these little phonics pots can be used to teach the different sounds and spellings of all the sounds in the French languages. Inside each of the 33 tubs there are 5 visual items to represent the spellings of that particular sound. These help children to understand how different spellings can create the same sounds.
When children are familiar with the sounds that make up a word, it improves their pronunciation and makes them more confident. These tubs will enable children to sound out any new words that they come across, encouraging them to learn independently. When children can break words down into their sounds, it helps to improve their reading of French.
